On first use, Jot Local downloads a speech model of about 2.3 GB; afterward, local dictation works offline. Below the specs? The opt-in Jot Cloud engine runs on anything with an internet connection and avoids that local model download. It operates only while selected, and audio is never stored on our servers.

What are the Mac system requirements for WhisperJot?
