What does the WhisperJot plan include?
Plans are $99/year (framed as $8.25/month billed annually). Quarterly and lifetime options exist only when enabled — see the pricing page for current options. There is no free trial; a 30-second browser demo is on the site.
One account covers Mac, Windows, and Linux. Sign-in is required to download and inside the app on each computer. A device cap is not documented. Local engines and the opt-in Jot Cloud engine are the same product choices on every platform, with the engine defaults described in Choose a speech engine.
Do Windows and Linux cost extra?
No separate per-platform fee is documented. Linux is in beta and still uses the same account. macOS 14+ on Apple silicon, Windows 10 64-bit, and a modern 64-bit Linux distro are the documented targets. Cancel billing once in the Stripe portal and it applies to the account, not to a single operating system.

Is the Linux beta a different subscription?
No. Linux builds are in beta and are included in the same plan. One account covers Mac, Windows, and Linux. You still sign in on the Linux install. Check the Linux install article for distro, glibc, and tray-icon notes. Billing changes stay on the account page → Manage billing, not in a Linux-only store.
Is there a cheaper quarterly WhisperJot plan?
