How to delete your WhisperJot data
Privacy → Clear History Now removes stored transcripts. On macOS, Delete All App Data… wipes history, saved audio, meetings, models, and settings, signs you out, and quits. Account deletion on the account page cancels any subscription.
How do I clear history without uninstalling?
Open Privacy settings and choose Clear History Now. That removes stored transcription history. It is the control to use when you want the local transcript log gone and the app still installed. Store transcription history can also be turned off so new takes are not kept.
How do I delete all app data on Mac, Windows, and Linux?
On macOS, Settings → Privacy → Delete All App Data… removes history, saved audio, meeting recordings, downloaded models, and settings, signs you out, and quits. Then drag the app to the Trash. Optionally remove WhisperJot from Privacy & Security lists in System Settings.
On Windows, uninstall from Settings → Apps, then delete %LOCALAPPDATA%\WhisperJot yourself for the database, models, and logs. On Linux, run sudo apt remove whisperjot or delete the extracted folder, then remove ~/.local/share/WhisperJot and the autostart entry.
Deleting the account on the account page cancels any subscription. That is separate from wiping files on a single computer.

Does Clear History Now delete downloaded speech models?
No. Clear History Now removes stored transcription history. Downloaded models stay until you remove unused models in Settings → Model on Mac or Windows, delete the models folder manually on Linux, or use Delete All App Data… on macOS, which also removes downloaded models, saved audio, meeting recordings, and settings. Uninstalling on Windows or Linux does not always delete those folders for you.
If I delete my WhisperJot account, is the subscription cancelled?
Yes. Account deletion on the account page cancels any subscription. It does not by itself empty every local folder on every computer you used. Still Clear History Now or Delete All App Data… on a Mac, and remove %LOCALAPPDATA%\WhisperJot or ~/.local/share/WhisperJot on Windows and Linux if you want those files gone too.
What does Delete All App Data remove on a Mac?
